“Plug and play” is useful shorthand. It is not a wiring diagram, a grid approval or permission to stop reading.
1. What exactly plugs into what?
Confirm the permitted AC connection, PV inputs, off-grid outlets and accessories for the exact model and destination market.
2. Which loads can it support?
Check continuous output, short-duration demand and the appliances likely to run together. A coffee machine and a toaster have an excellent sense of timing.
3. How is export controlled?
If the project requires export limitation or anti-backflow control, confirm the supported meter or CT arrangement and how it is commissioned.
4. What still needs an installer?
Mounting, cable routing, earthing, protection and grid connection may require qualified work. Requirements vary by market and site.
5. What happens when Wi-Fi disappears?
Ask which functions remain available locally, what the indicators mean and how monitoring reconnects. Cloud access is convenient; basic operating understanding should not live only in the cloud.
